Let me add a French company to that mix : Laster
I can't say much about them, but I should be meeting them shortly, and will share it here
Not sure if the designs on the webpage actually do exist, but they look nice dont they ? ;)
I'm doing some research on the state of AR eyewear.
I'm interested in any company involved in the manufacturer of such devices.
For instance, teXXmo is the company producing the HMD for SAP's Industrial "SiWear" AR system.

Any companies of this nature.
I am, of course, familiar with Vuzix, and Microvision and other high profile companies, especial in the US. I know little of the European market beyond teXXmo, and nothing of the Asian market in this space, and I assume there are players that exist.

Thanks Benjamin.
Yeah, that looks cad modeled and shopped in.
But in theory, it looks like an interesting idea. Like a side-projector version of what Microvision does with an above projector.

Here is the military version of Microvision's model:
They tried marketing a commercial / industrial version a few years ago, but it didn't take off, and they discontinued it. I think they were just a little ahead of their time.
Noah Zerkin (who I hope joins this forum) brought one of their commercial models, The Microvision Nomad, to the New York AR DevCamp in November. The quality of the overlay / transparent display was quite impressive.
The one in that military photo above is monochrome green, and the one Noah brought was monochromatic in red (which was actually pretty cool and "Terminator" like). But Microvision's newest models are in full color.

Here, I found a photo of the Nomad (quite lacking in the esthetics department):
And a little diagram of their optics, courtesy of the BBC:
