Hey there, fellow organizers! I'm interested in discussing the progress of our meetup group efforts. If you are successful with your group (come on now, let's not be modest!), share what you are doing with others. If you want to grow your group, ask for help.

OK. I'll begin. I'm organizer of ARCH-Swiss Augmented Reality Meetup Group http://www.meetup.com/ARCH-Swiss-Augmented-Reality/

Switzerland is a small country but it is strategically positioned in the center of Western Europe. It is also home to some really fantastic researchers and developers in the AR and visual search domains. Due to our small size, and the fact that there are many languages spoken in this country, we will never be able to attain the size of a group in Los Angeles, San Francisco or New York city. Because there are only a few new members who join each week, I can greet most of them individually.
